“This is the year I will serve as a leader in Awana!”
There may never be a “right” time…
Serving the Lord may not come without sacrifice, yet God promises that He will bless us and our families when we serve Him. Miraculously, through God’s grace, these blessings and the fruit they bare, far outweigh the sacrifices we need to make in our own lives.
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
You know of the positive impact that Awana has on your children’s lives, but what if you could make an impact yourself by serving in Awana? Imagine the difference that you could make in a child’s life… for eternity… for the glory of God’s kingdom.
When the risen Jesus appeared to the 11 disciples while they were eating, He said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15).As Christians, and as disciples ourselves, Jesus has commanded us to preach the gospel.
Won’t you make a commitment to join our awesome leadership team for the 2019-2020 year. Help us reach Ramona’s youth with the gospel of Jesus as an Awana Leader.
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:6)
